Notes:This lake is probably a favorite for some fishermen who have it dialed in. Watch closely for the junction off of Pine Ridge Trail, as it is unmarked and appears to have been purposely obscured with logs and limbs.
Also take note that most maps have not be updated to show the new trailhead parking, which is no longer at Camp Pioneer, but on gated road #536. From here you must hike ¼ mile around Camp Pioneer to the official trailhead, which is at the junctions of the Pine Ridge and Turpentine Trails.
