This is an uncommon winter visitor (Sep-May) in the Willamette Valley. At first glance this sparrow can easily be mistaken for a White-crowned Sparrow, but always check the throat area for white instead of grey, and look for the yellow eyebrows to confirm it's a White-throated Sparrow. |
