Common Name:Swallow, Cliff
Scientific Name:Petrochelidon pyrrhonota
Family:Hirundinidae
Area:Collier Memorial State Park, Oregon
Date:June 16, 2012

These swallows can easily be identified as adult Cliff Swallows by the cream colored forehead. I’m not sure what is going on with the nest, if they are rebuilding it, or if they are just using it to perch in.
