Common Name:Gnatcatcher, Blue-gray
Scientific Name:Polioptila caerulea
Family:Sylviidae
Area:River Island State Park, Arizona
Date:October 30, 2012

White under-tail identifies this as a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher in contrast to the Black-tailed Gnatcatcher which has a black under-tail. Also notice the black eye brows which would indicate that this is a male Blue-gray Gnatcatcher.
