The Scott Family has long gathered at Clear Lake in the summer to camp and fish. In 1977 it was special, as the Schoen Family had driven out from Indianapolis for a visit. Everyone always enjoys rowing the boats on Clear Lake, and fishing usually plays a big part of the weekend.

This year on a whim we decided to go for a hike. Looking at the map, Patjens Lakes looked close and off we went. This was the start of another tradition---going hiking every year at Clear Lake, which has continued all these years.
